Abstract

GNSS-Rsignalscontainacoherentandanincoherentcomponent.Anewalgorithmforcoherentphasealtimetryoverroughoceansurfaces,calledPARFAIT,hasbeendevelopedandimplementedinStarlab’sSTARLIGHT1GNSS-Rsoftwarepackage.InthispaperwereportourextractionandanalysisofthecoherentcomponentofL1GPS-RsignalscollectedduringtheESTECBridge2experimentalcampaignusingthistechnique.ThealtimetricresultshavebeencomparedwithaGPS-buoycalibratedtidemodelwitharesultingprecisionoftheorder1cm.
